How To Use ScamGuard

You should not need a manual to use ScamGuard, but this page covers the basics.

Install it

Add the Chrome extension and keep browsing normally.

If ScamGuard warns you, slow down and double-check the site before entering anything important.

Report scam domains and vouch for legitimate ones when you are confident.

If a warning appears on a login or payment page, stop and verify the domain carefully.
If you are unsure, visit the company from a bookmark or a search result you trust instead of continuing.
Only vote when you are reasonably confident. Thoughtful votes make the system better.
